Hello,

My Granny grew up in Middlehill Croft near Aberdour Christie Murdoch Beange .

(Twin sister) with Rachel McKay Beange. Born 3/1/1906 she was one of 17 brothers and sisters. Her (Mother) Mary Ann Kindness had her first child at 18 and her last at 49 My Grannies (Father) was John Mckay Beange.  He took over the Croft from his father and Mother, possibly the generation before also.  The last members of the family to be at the Croft were Bathia (sister)Jake(brother)olive Buchan nee Beange daughter of Maggie Beange (sister) died of TB at 26 Aunt Olive lived in Crimmond with her husband Charles Buchan .Sadly both now Deceased.  I would love to hear from anybody with any information regarding my family. I do have quite a bit as my Mother is still alive and she spent her first six years in Middlehill, moving away after the war as a six year old to London with my Gran and re-uniting with her Dad when he came home from the war.

Many Thanks in advance

Clare
