Nicholsons in Aiketgate

My mom, Elizabeth (Betty) who recently passed away, lived in Aiketgate during her childhood - until about 20 y/o when she came to the US. I believe she was born nearby in High Heskett (1930). In any case, her family name was Nicholson (father - Stephen, Mother - Violet, two sisters - Rose and Ruby, two brothers - Harold and Stephen. They lived in a farmhouse in/near the village. Looking for good sources of information. I'd like to plan a trip to explore next year, and am wondering where records may be found. Thanks for any information you may be able to share. Carol
