Moving home to Almondbury

Hello everybody.
I'm Karen, I'm 56, and I will be moving from Mossley, to Almondbury, hopefully before Christmas.
My husband passed away four years ago. Unfortunately, we couldn't have children.
My sister lives down south but will be coming up to help me move in.
I have been on Google street search and have found out more or less where things are in Almondbury. I do like the idea of joining a walking group, although I'm not one to walk for miles. I also like the idea of Alpaca trekking.
I would love to see if I could find a friend, or two, who would love to share some of their time in showing me around the village, a coffee bit of shopping etc.
