I'm looking for the origin of my Twist ancestors who were horse dealers in Birmingham in the 19th century. It has been suggested that the name origin may come from this area and the location would fit in well in terms of the horse trading with Ireland. Anyone have any Twist connections in this area and esp with horse trading links - Amanda
