Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with my family tree, surname Brunt.

I found this article about my x4 great grandfather and would like to know more...

Abraham Brunt

The Leeds Mercury

Tuesday 07/03/1775.

"We hear from Grassington in

Craven, We hear from Grassington in

Craven that on 23rd of February the

following melancholy accident happened on

the Out Moor near that place: Abraham Brunt

and Joseph Parciple having gone into one of

the lead mines in order to work, Brunt showed

Parciple the properest place to begin, to which

he objected, telling him it was dangerous;

whereupon Brunt immediately began himself,

and brought down such a quantity of stones

and rubbish, that they were both buried under

it. Brunt was killed on the spot, and Parciple so

much bruised that he is not expected to live. It

was near ten hours before they could be got

out. Brunt has left a wife and several small children.

I would like to know what happened to his family.

Many thanks
