I too lived in Vista Rd do you remember Mr Mrs Miller from end house there son Tony was a friend of mine often wandered what happened to him . cheers Colin Abergele North Wales

lSorry, only just seen this post. Yes, of course I remember the Millers , they had the end house in our block just before the fields. Always used to let us pick their white lilac when it was in bloom. Rumour had it that they were of Polish descent, but I certainly can't be sure of that. I do remember Tony but I'm sure he was a few years older than me, was he a well built man (I don't meant!!) Where about in Vista Road did you live? The Millers had three spinster ladies living next door (Emily,Gertie and Maggie Hunter) and next door to them were the Rudds , son David must be about 79 now and living in Canada, and I ended up in Abermule!!
