Tippett family in Portishead

I'm researching my family's connections with Portishead. My great-great-grandfather, George TIPPETT1817-1896, established the White Cot Dairy in Portishead in the mid 19th century and his descendants continued their involvement in the business into the mid 20th century. Apart from TIPPETT, the other names involved are GOLDSTONE, CAREY and MILLS.

I'd like to hear from anyone who has connections with any of the family or with the White Cot Dairy.

Hello David,

My main interest is researching the Tippetts of Pill/Easton in Gordano, but I have found there are a number in Portbury, especially at the end of the 1700s. I came across your George T as being possibly : the son of Samuel T b 1789 and Sarah, and also the grandson of Thomas T and Mary m in 1784 in Easton in Gordano. I believe that Samuel was the brother of Joseph T who was my earliest documented ancestor. I also have your George married to Elizabeth neeTippett (who was the daughter of John T and Rachel) though it starts to get complicated here !

Please let me know if I am on the right track and we can exchange some information
