Grange Cottage

My uncle, Norrie McLintock lived at Grange Cottage, Culroy from c1928 till it was demolished around 50 years ago.....he married Katherine Leslie, who worked along with her sister at Sauchrie House...I'd like any information regarding the history of Grange Cottage etc.....I remember my uncle telling me about the owner of Grange Estate being the retired Governor of Hong Kong and that he shot his wife and son in Grange House....confirmation would be appreciated...also any history of Grange House....
