William hardy

Can anybody help me find william(Billy) Hardy and his family I have no idea when he was born I'm just told he had son in 1917 and Billy died when his son was 3 or 4 yrs old. Billy was walking home from a pub and he drowned I do know he has cousin from Worksop nots called Thomas Hardy
Any help would be great many thanks
