Just after the war my wife's birth mother ( Ethal Elizabeth Davies ) worked at Staverton Bridge Hostel as a canteen supervisor , we have been to the archives but there doesn't seem to be much  info about the Hostel is there anyone in the area that can help....... We live in Bristol
