Edwards/Jones

Hi,
Just found out I have links to Lydd!
All I know so far is that Albert Richard Edwards married Fanny Jones in 1864 somewhere in Romney Marsh and at least one of their children (Harriett Amy) was born in Lydd in 1878. I think he might have been a Carter, and family legend is that there was a smuggler in the family, so maybe it was him...I've read that the area was a popular smuggler's haunt.
If the surnames mean anything to you or you have info from local records, I'd love to hear from you.
