Hi Julie and Terry
Clive and I moved here over 2 years ago and really like living in Westgate. We are on st Mildred’s road and would recommend the social club on same road opposite train station. They have various live bands/singers on free during weekend and Wednesday afternoon and I go bingo on a Monday night. Clive belongs to a ukulele group on a Tuesday night.Membership is I think is £5 a year. I also belong the the leisure centre in Hartsdown road which has lots excercise classes and caters well for over 50’s! I have just joined a walking group as well and now we have finished decorating- intend to get out and socialise a bit more!
as yet we haven’t really explored Margate but from what I read lots going on there including lots good acts at dreamland.
And of course we have fantastic beach, bars and cafes!
