Possible scam

Beware of possible scam. A man knocked on the door of someone in upper Wivenhoe one evening this week and suggested the elderly occupant should change their gas and electricity provider. They then asked for bank details - name, sort code, bank account.
With the virus still at large no-one should be cold calling and certainly not without a facemask. Do not give any details to this man and if necessary contact the police.
