I'm looking for any information on the above families, especially William McPherson b1886 who played for Liverpool and several Scottish clubs including Beith Juniors. I know he immigrated to NZ in 1913 but came back. His parents were Duncan McPherson and Mary Dyce. He also had 11 brothers and sisters. I'm the main family historian for this side of the McPherson's.

My gran's grandparents were Mary Richardson (1844-1895) & John McPherson (1844-1905) from Beith.
Their children were Maggie (my g-grandmother), John , James, Lizzie, William & Bella.
This is obviously a different William from the one you are looking for, but with other surnames the same, I wondered if there might be a connection - ? PM me if you would like to share info :)
