About Billericay Community Cinema
We are a volunteer-based, not-for-profit Community Cinema. Each month we show two films
- "Film Thursday" is an evening film for adults and can be anything from Casablanca to The Blues Brothers, from di Caprio's Romeo+Juliet to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. We've local beers from Billericay Brewery, we try to create an "immersive" experience with set dressing, perhaps cocktails or other relevant themes - and most of all we're right on the High Street. Just £5 a ticket.
- "Family Sunday" operates on a Sunday afternoon. We focus on younger families - showing films such as Ratatouille, Frozen, Tangled or The Lego Movie. We've beanbags for the kids to sit on, we usually have an Art & Craft stall where they can colour or make something relevant to the film both before it starts and in our interval. Reasonably priced refreshments are available - as is popcorn from our own machine. Tickets are just £3 or £7.50 for a family of up to 4.
