Concert of Light Music - Guisborough Choral Society. Saturday 10th June
Don't miss this! The opening event of the Guisborough Festival of Song, launched by Guisborough Choral Society to celebrate its 50th Anniversary this year. Guisborough's Mayor will open the Festival at this Concert of Light Music. Expect a varied programme of beautiful melodies, beautifully sung. Something for everyone: from choral arrangements of The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel to North-East folksongs; from Elgar to spirituals. Add in solo vocal numbers and instrumental interludes by Prior Pursglove students, and a wonderful evening is in prospect at St. Nicholas Church Hall, Bow Street at 7.30 pm on Saturday 10th June.
