Hi everyone! I've just joined and am not convinced I've got the right forum but here goes!

I recently visited Kingstanding during a weekend in Birmingham for the first time since 1977. I was staying with relatives for a week back then. This time, I had a couple of pints and a wander round but couldn't really remember it as I was 16 then, now 62.

My uncle took me to Kentucky Fried Chicken, the first time I'd ever had it. Can anyone tell me whereabouts in Kingstanding it was back then?

Hi it was at the Kingstanding circle next to Claires travel, they're all closed now except for farmfoods and the card factory

Many thanks for that!  I had a couple in the Second City Sports Bar so I was very near where it had been.
