Lost: Not my dog but seen running in road

Morning, we parked this morning by the car bays on Ferny Hill. As we parked a little white curly haired dog ran out from the north london loop walk exit, into the road. I tried to lure him from the road with dog biscuits but he just ran into Trent Park entrance by the obelisk. There was no one we could see walking up the path so don't know how far he'd run. I feel pretty useless but I do hope someone found him and managed to keep him and get him scanned??? Any information about this would be greatly received. All the best Annabel.
