Tippins Masons Jones Saunders
Hi All
Just started me Family history on me Dsds side his Mum was Ruby Jones from Abertillery ive discovered many of her Family moved to Abertillery from Forest of Dean thruout 18880s to 1910 etc their surnames were Masons and Tippins i think they were miners from forest who moved for work although the Tippins were originally Chimney sweeps supposedly with Romany connections? Im curious if anyone has any links info on families or if they stayed in South Wales ? My Jones side was me Grt Gramp Jack Jones known as the Devil bareknuckle foghtee from 1920s born Bred Abertillery he married into Saunders family my Mason And Tippins line start with Richard and Noah Tippinsand also Noah Mason and extended family any help would be really appreciated
