I have a painting of Monks Bridge / the Crossag: any information about the area?

Hi
I write just because I have an ancient painting from the Isle of Man- It is a 35 x 25 canvas.
It paints the Monks Bridge / the Crossag, and I wish to have some other knews about the place and his history.
On the back it's written:
The Crossag or Monks Bridges - Rushan Abbey
J Powell Wright - Ballasalla - I. of Man
July 1885
