Can anyone tell me where raggetshaws farm was in the annan area?

A serious carriage accident occurred last night near Annan. Mr Beattie, Raggetshaw Farm,
was found lying on the road about two miles from Annan,
bleeding profusely from a wound in the head.
It appears that he had been driving home from the market, when the horse shied and
bolted, with the result that Mr Beattie was thrown from the machine.
He was conveyed home, and a doctor procured to attend to his injuries.

Did you have relatives living there? My second cousin (3 times removed) married Robert Beattie and he was the farmer at Raggetshaw Farm in Annan. Thank you for the information mcksunderland, gives me another piece of the puzzle.

Yes my husband is related to the Beatties of Raggetshaws. Robert Beattie was his G G grandfather.
