Lost: Flower planters / tubs taken from front garden
Hi - I don’t know if anyone can help. I returned from holiday to discover that about 10-12 tubs of various plants had been taken from my front garden. They include two red Acers in separate blue pots, 1 lime green Acer in a turquoise pot, a large, black tub with a wigwam and a mix of runner beans and sweet peas, a tub of Alpine strawberries, a black pot containing cherry tomatoes, a tub containing a large iris (will be white when it flowers), a pot containing a single “red hot poker” and even a small pot containing an Amaryllis which had been left outside for the summer. Also - a hydrangea and (most upsetting of all) a dahlia which had been grown from seed by a friend who gave it to me 2 years ago & which I’d nurtured carefully & was due to flower for the first time this year..... Maybe they might end up at a car boot sale or otherwise be offered for sale. I guess it’s probably a forlorn hope that they could be tracked down (although the mix of runner beans & sweetpeas is a bit unusual.... If anyone sees them please let me know! Thank you.
