My neighbours have been issued £70 parking tickets for parking at surgery wulfston way cherry hinton in disabled bay ,I understand, its for blue badge disabled patients but ,very expensive in these difficult times
It is out of all proportions. £5 fine would've been adequate and taught a lesson to the "offender". I was caught unawares about the payment of ULEZ fee in London and fined £70. As it was my one and only trip to London, I was not aware of how the fees are paid. There were no barriers where you could stop and insert your card in a machine, like you do at some car parks. If you're catching drivers unawares, it is a highway robbery. :-(

Problem with that ,people will park again & again dont mind pay £5 each time worth it to park, but£70 expensive.
