Good Morning

I am considering moving my family to one of these places, however apart from visiting the camp in Chilwell I really do not know that much on the nice areas to settle. The schools in general look good, and their seems to be high employment through the research I have carried out. My wife is worried a little  as we have three girls and whenever she types in Nottingham, iffy articles appear. I will work away part of the week and would like them to feel safe whilst I am absent. I am really only looking in the southern suburbs and basically would like some info and positive comments from local familes/people on what's good about the area, and is it a good place for my children to grow up.

Hi,

I grew up in Stapleford and lived in Ilkeston briefly. We've lived in Sandiacre for the last 7 years and have 2 young kids (1 school age) I would recommend Stapleford or Sandiacre areas. There are good schools and jobs and most people are friendly. Good luck, Joe

Joe

Thanks very much, we have 3 girls all of school age, and one starting secondary next term.  We were meant to buy back in Kent, but the vendor has messed us about.

Thank you

Alan
