Moving to Church Fenton

Hi everyone.

My girlfriend and I (both 34) are thinking of buying a place in Church Fenton, we love the area but there are certain things you can’t easily always get a feel for until you’re there. So I wanted to ask a few questions to see if people can answer.

1. We have dogs and I’m sure there are some great country walks. Just wanted to check if anyone knows of any where the dogs can be off lead with no risk of being near a main road, preferably not too far from Main Street.

2. is there some kind of local park where we could take the dogs or where kids can play? Again, I know the entire village is surrounded by green but I’m assuming they are mostly farmer’s fields and may not be suitable for a kick around or dogs running around.

3. I wouldn’t have thought this was an issue and I don’t want to offend anyone who lives there but in my research I’ve seen 3 separate articles/posts about youth crime. One was from 2008 so can’t put much stock in it but one was from this year where the community shop (love that by the way) had the windows put through. From what we’ve seen of the area it looks fantastic but I know that teens can sometimes rebel in smaller villages because they have less to do and can resort to this kind of thing. Is it a known issue or am I worrying over nothing?
