- Hello. I have recently visited corfe castle and the local village via Swanage on the steam trains. What a lovely and enchanting place. We had lunch in the local pub which was very nice as well. My question is, can anyone tell me who this is a painting of. It’s a picture on the wall of the pub. None of the staff could tell me. So I was hoping a local or historian of the area could shine light on who it is.
