I am seeking information on Thomas Garbett, who was tried and convicted of stealing, at Salop (Shropshire) Assizes in Shrewsbury in 1819 and transported aboard convict ship Caledonia to Tasmania in 1820. There is some evidence that he had a brother, William, also transported in 1820, but due to a different crime. Court records list Glazeley as the Garbetts' native place.

I have extensive records of Thomas, my 2x great grandfather, after his arrival in Australia, but have been so far unsuccessful in finding any solid links to Thomas' parents or other family in Shropshire. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
