Are you related to Robert Gordon Taylor b 1917 , or Mary Taylor b 1920 d 1977

The 1921 census through up a previously unknown uncle Robert Gordon Taylor born 24 Jul 1917 . I have been as yet unable to find out if Robert ever married or had children, or to find a death record for him but from the birth date I think it is fair to say he is deceased.
His parents were George 1889 - 1975 and Annie nee Gordon 1885 - 1917. They lived in Lennoxtown, Bonhill and Helensburgh.
George worked on the railways as a driver and at the time of his death lived at 49 South King Street with his daughter Mary married name McKerrell who lived in Helensburgh all her life.
I'd love to hear from any living members of the family and from anyone who knew the family.
