I am wondering if anyone on this forum can help me, please. My Dad , Don Amer, was a forester at Culbin Forest and we as a family lived in Kintessack. My mum, Dad and twin sister lived in the village. My sister and I were born in 1956 in the Forres Infirmary and lived in Kinessack for 4 years before my dad was posted to Kielder Forest, there, sadly, ending my connection with  the village. I had never been back since, until two weeks ago, which rekindled my first memory of life being chased by one of our hens!!!!

Anyway my question is can anyone tell me where the wooden house were located as I would like to visit the actual area where the houses stood?  And if there are any photographs of them that would the icing on the cake.

The photograph is me Ken Amer at the village sign.

Many thanks

Ken Amer
