Forehead Tattoo
I am the old woman who hobbles around Headingley with a tattoo on my forehead. I can’t hide my health problems anymore and I am sick of the strange looks I get especially from young people. I have a prolapsed bowel and bladder. I am in immense pain now and I can’t pretend anymore.
I also have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis which is very painful. I show myself up in shops dropping things and I can’t fill my bag properly,items fall on the floor I feel awful about it and I get strange looks.It is embarrassing.
My right wrist is useless due to medical negligence-it healed in the wrong position.A year later they operated on it-breaking it and putting a plate in (I was compensated)
I am on a waiting list for surgery on my bowel etc I have been this way since lockdown and now I have deteriorated I can’t hide it anymore.
I have also been told I will lose my eyesight (dry macular degeneration)
I am not seeking sympathy
I have a strong need to explain myself.
