The family of Euphemia, formerly Macdonald, and Hugh McIvor

I am looking for information about Hilda May Macdonald (becameThorpe). She was the daughter of Euphemia and George Macdonald born in 1910. Euphemia married Hugh McIvor after her husband was killed in WW1. There were three siblings and 3 stepchildren. Hilda moved to Peterborough but returned to Fife after her marriage failed. I am aware that Euphemia and Hugh died in the 1960's but would be grateful if any relatives or residents could provide information as to what happened to Hilda and any of her Scottish family. My uncle was her son but was placed in care as a child before becoming a part of my Grandma's family on Tyneside. Although he is deceased his family always desired to understand the circumstances.
