Suggested Planning Application by Developers on Lambshear Lane Green Belt Land
This is madness, why is Sefton Council approving development on Greenbelt so that developers can profit from building expensive homes on Greenbelt Land instead of renovating run down brown belt areas.
There is a multitude of derelict buildings down the dock road and brownbelt areas in Bootle which are crying out for renovation when Sefton is allowing developers to profiteer from building homes on greenbelt which are not affordable homes.
Why are we allowing the Local Authority to destroy greenbelt areas instead. This does not make sense when we are wanting to improve the environment, we are destroying beautiful areas and leaving run down areas neglected? Not to mention damage to the environment and habitat in greenbelt, this madness allowing developers to profiteer destroying green belt instead of renovating brown belt and creating affordable homes has to stop.
To add, there are run down areas in urban areas such as grounds by the new Everton football stadium which has been derelict for over 70 years which is crying out for development and could have beautiful waterside apartments leading from the example in docklands in London or The Mersey in Manchester. Please respond if you agree
