Are there any decendents of John and Phoebe Farby of 22 High Street, Mepal still living in Mepal? They were my great, great grandparents.
Phoebe's maiden name was Ellington.
My great grandfather was Thomas Feast Farby who married Georgiana Stocker and left Mepal in the late 19th century and worked in Nottinghamshire as a colliery winding engine driver. He died in 1942 and was buried at Huthwaite.
