Lost: 100 Euros in Stroud town

I bought 100 Euros from the Post Office in Stroud on 12 March. I believed that I had put the notes in my wallet. When I came to use on holiday, the notes weren’t there. I’m back now and today checked that the post office weren’t aware. A long shot I know: is anyone aware?
