Help for identification.

We have joined this forum asking for help. We were attending a funeral at St Mildred's Wednesday before last and whilst in the Church our car, which was parked in a disabled bay in Church Road, was hit by an aggressive elderly man who refused to stop when approached by a kind lady who was at the Church Hall. She managed to get the first part of the Registration either LD06 LB06, it was a beige estate. If anyone recognised this old estate car in their immediate locality we would appreciate you contacting us. We are elderly pensioners and this is causing us great distress as our Insurance company is finding the Ashford Council uncooperative in respect of checking the CCTV cameras in the High Street in the vicinity of the junction with Church Road. They were provided with time period when the car would have been in the High Street. Obviously the Police are not interested as nobody was hurt, even though the motorist was committing an offence under the 170 Section of the Road Traffic Act. We know this is a long shot, but thank you for reading this.
