How is your broadband?
Hello.
We are thinking about buying a house in Torbryan, but we are aware that it is down in a dip (so no mobile signal!) and is not connected to the fastest broadband options. We don't need instant speeds for HD or gaming or anything like that, but we would like to be able to watch Netflix in the evenings and work from home when necessary. This sometimes involves video calling. I'd be very grateful if anyone local could post with their own experience - are you able to get online most of the time? What sort of problems do you experience, if any? Is there a provider that's better than others? Does anyone know where the nearest FTTC cabinet is? (Apparently this is relevant!) I am trying to contact Skylight Broadband, a local company that I've heard can provide faster speeds, so if anyone else uses them, it would be great to hear from you.
