Luncheon Club

I would like to set up a Luncheon Club, meeting once a week , day to be arranged, going to different venues for a meal and generally socialising. I was in Spain for some time and attended one of these which was mainly for ex Pats. It was enjoyable , welcoming and a great group. If you are on your own it is not always easy to make friends.

It would be mainly for people who enjoy getting out and about in the local community, any gender, who feel that getting out and about would be a change. With summer coming up perhaps day trips could be arranged.

Please give it a go, you never know you might just look forward to your day out

Thanks for your reply. Yours is the first I was beginning to think no one was interested. It would be nice to get a group together. I used to go to one in Spain and looked forward to it, going out for lunch each Friday, nowhere too expensive and trying a different place each week. It more the company than the meal as when you are on your own its nice to meet up. Even though there has not been much response I would like to meet up as who knows with time we might get more interested.

You can contact me through the Dinnington Forum and arrange to meet. I went to the garden centre just before the Red Lion and had a great meal with my daughter in law.

I leave it with you but I would enjoy meeting up with you. If you have no transport I can pick you up at an arranged spot

Apola I've got numerous workmen coming/going over next couple of weeks so fully committed. Up to now free .Mon 15 Wed 17 Thurs 18 or Fri 19 if any if those dates suit?
