Hit and run incident
Hi, my name is David GIbson and I live at 9 Highview Avenue. This morning at approximately 6.30am ( Sunday 01/08/2021) a Mid Grey new shape Ford Mondeo came down East Avenue at speed and failed to stop at the end, it skidded into Highview Avenue and smashed heavily into my neighbours black Hyundai i30 and my blue Renault Clio ( both will probably be written off!) The driver then managed to reverse out and shoot off up the road turning left onto Stafford Road. We have cctv of the incident but as yet do not have the number plate (we have someone working to try and retrieve it from the footage) The footage shows two people going towards the Mondeo when it was parked near the Chase end of East Avenue then it being driven off fast. We are unsure if there was one or two occupants. If any one knows of such a car that usually parks in the vacuity (maybe now with O/S/Front damage) please let me know. Many thanks Dave
Update:- car was found on Princes Way Croydon and Police informed.Thanks
