Volunteers needed in Wilmslow
Hello everyone,
My name is Shammie, I work for Snow Angels CIC, I local organisation that supports over 65's in Cheshire East to reduce social isolation and lonliness. We're looking to recruit more wonderful volunteers in Cheshire East to support our clients. We have a number of clients in Wilmslow, Crewe, Sandbach, Congleton, Alderly Edge, Macclesfield and surrounding areas, who would love to spend some time with a volunteer.
This can take the form of a friendly phone call to visiting a person in their own home. On top of this, clients may need a pint of milk and some bread for the local shop, light domestic duties like changing of a light bulb, or help with potting flower in the warmer months - whatever you're happy offering.
We exist through the support of volutneers and our volutneers are never more needed than now. We'd love for you to join us as a volutneer with Snow Angels. If you had just an hour a week, you could truly make a huge differance to the lives of others in your local area - someone could be down the road from you who'd love for you to bob in and say hello.
All our volutneers are DBS checked. We offer training to be added to CV's. You have the full support of a Wellbing Coordinator who will be with you every step of the way.
