A schoolmaster & mistress ancestors at Woodcott Free School

My research into family history has unearthed an ancestor called Elisha Stevens married to Frances (nee Franklin) who resided as school master & mistress at Woodcott Free School in 1841 and 1851. These dates are Census dates. Elisha was born about 1810 and became a Land surveyor by 1861 living at Horn Lane. In 1841 & 1851 the Censuses recorded a residence of South Stoke which, I assume, included the now named Woodcote. By 1871 Elisha & Frances moved to Reading. Frances was born at Ewelme.
Any information to link these people to Woodcote, South Stoke would be great.
