Hi all, this is my 1st post here, but I am concerned about the amount of parking on pavements around the village.

My father in law has recently had some serious health problems and now has to walk with the aid of a (for want of a better word) stroller. As this piece of equipment only goes foreward not sideways as apparently is needed in the village to get passed cars parked on the pavement. He has damaged his hands on numerous occasions on hedgerows and bearing in mind his age (89), he doesn’t heal rapidly.

I know others have the same problems, especially mothers with prams and young kids.

So might be so bold as to ask drivers to give some thought to parking and leave enough room for people to pass safely.
