I am hoping someone can help me. I am researching the English and Watkins family in Aughnacloy and Ballygawley. I have some information on Anthony Watkins and his daughters but am drawing a blank on the English family (they owned the butchers in Ballygawley at some point). If anyone could help with any recollections I would be really grateful. Many thanks

Hi Aughnacloy residents ... I am planning to visit just after Xmas to see for the first time, the house where my father grew up. He was born in 1919, family name Brady, and his parents are buried in St Bridget's Cemetery. I have an old photo of the house, which I was able to find on Google maps a couple of years ago, and there is now a shop within. Hope I can find it when I get there.

My Mother Ellen Robinson was born in Aughnacloy in 1921--she ws called Lily by many of the family friends.

Her Father  Alexander Robinson(-according to death cert had middle name of Harold)  and I was given to believe was  in RIC ? OR RUC,-,Ido have a picture of Alexander Robinson--in a uniform,which has foxed most experts,they say it is definately a Police Uniform--but cannot define RIC/RU,i I 

MYSELF WAS BORN IN CO DOWN,at Newtownards Hospital- 1947  sadly they do not seem to have records of this amazing Birth !!!!

I was able once to visit Aughnacloy in early 70's my mother birth name Ellen  Robinson,she had 

sisters Molly ( who married John Bennet ) Georgina ( who married Jack Mc Dowell BETTY WHO MARRIED lOUIS  PARSONS 

 some village people remembered the family--but as a teenager!! not then interesting! to me !!,

NOW OF COURSE -doing family tree-I am so fascinated by all this,I had a younger Brother Christopher who was an Royal Irish RANGER  before it all got changed-Hope this helps place me-and my family-and any help would be appreciated.

I now live in BRTITANY IN FRANCE,so find it so difficult to find and trace my Ancestors,which is  huge problem-if you do not know exactly where those ancestors where buried-I should mention Granny-Ellen Robinson-and Alexander signed the Covenant.-So there it is.I myself have no real religious  persuasions due to divorce of parents in the 1950's SO HELLO AUGHNACLOY!!--any info would be grand--my cousin Joan MARRIED   Ronnie Mc CALL AND LIVED IN mOY--if any help !xx

My Mother-Ellen Robinson was born in Auchnacloy in 1921-her parents were Ellen(Nelly Robinson-nee Boyle).

Ellen Robinson-nee Boyle married Alexander Robinson-in 1915-in Presbyterian church in Auchnacloy,Alexander and Nellie signed covenant 1912?

My mother died in N WALES in 1993-and I have no knowledge of family history

I am having huge problems in finding my grandpoarents  graves-Robert Boyle-married to Ellen Taggart.

Would anyone know where Robert and Ellen boyle are laid to rest.
