Is your child at secondary school and been offered an NHS vaccination at school recently?

NHS England South East is keen to hear the views of young people, parents, carers and guards about the school-aged immunisation service (SAIS) and how it could improve.

The service provides a range of vaccines to young people in order to protect against serious preventable diseases. These include the HPV vaccine for protecting against HPV-related cancers, the MenACWY vaccine for preventing meningococcal diseases, and the 3 in 1 teenage booster for tetanus, diphtheria, and polio. Additionally, the catch-up programme offers the MMR vaccine to those who may have missed doses in the past.

Pact is looking for a forward-thinking, creative childcare worker to join their play project within HMP Springhill. You will provide support and play opportunities to the children using play facilities at the Prison. The post holder will work as one of the children’s services team, assisting in the organising of a daily play facility for children visiting HMP Springhill. You will ensure that the play facilities operate at an excellent standard and safeguard children at all times, ensuring that activities are suited to the range of children visiting.

About you: 

You will have experience of planning and delivering play to children and families within a challenging environment; you will also be a good communicator, reliable and enthusiastic.. It essential that you have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and can relate sensitively to the varying needs of the children visiting the Prison. You must also have the ability to work flexibly, as this role will include regular weekend work. This post is subject to pre-employment checks, a Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and Enhanced Prison security clearance.
You may have experience of the following: Play Worker, Teacher, Coach, Play Scheme Assistant, Nursery Worker, Teaching, Coaching, Childcare, Nursery Assistant etc.
