Hello Everybodies,
My name is Irvan and I have just moved to lovely little village of Bembridge. I am having wedding soon and whole family is coming, around 200 people. They will probably be staying here after the wedding as this is lovely village to make home.
Lovely people, lovely village, happy times :)
Hi there, my mum has just moved house within bembridge and is having trouble setting up her tv (BT box) and wifi. I can’t get down there until next weekend and she can’t be without it all that time. Can anyone help by recommending someone (preferably accredited or similar, just for safety’s sake!) who could go round and get her set up? Many thanks

Pair of oars taken from Bembridge slipway - off Paddock Drive. Have name & phone number on them.
I may have dropped keys in the high street in Bembridge not far from the wet fish shop may have been in the road they have a little RNLI little man key ring. It was Friday 31st July in the morning. Very Hot morning.
Lost earlier in the year maybe on Ducie Beach after swimming, a gold chain necklace with small round mother of pearl pendant with central tiny diamond. Sentimental value is high as I’ve had this for nearly 60 years.
I used to belong to Bembridge Forum and I am delighted to find this one. I was born at St. Mary's in 1952 and my surname was Hobson. I lived in Bembridge until I was nearly 2 when we moved to Lake after the railway closed at Bembridge. My parents ran the Tollgate Cafe until then. My Dad, Bob Hobson, was in a wheelchair after a motorbike accident. His Mum kept Carisbrooke House hotel in Sandown. My parents bought a house in Denness Road and did B & B. My Dad died when I was 5 and Mum (Sheila nee Brooks) did various jobs to pay the mortgage. She was a dinner lady, washed up at a hotel, was a theatre usherette at Sandown and cleaned a Bank. All at the same time! When I was 14 we moved to Bembridge to a prefab. Mum had inherited. I married in 1974 and moved to West Sussex.
I was walking along the beach from Lane End to Ducie Avenue today - 20th December and saw a little black and white short haired terrier. He seemed to be on his own but before I could look at his collar and details he started running quite fast along the beach towards the harbour.
I walked to Ducie and caught up with amother walker on the beach who said the dog had run past him at speed.
I'm concerned he may be lost and want to alert his owner that he has been seen.
