Posted by I am searching for relatives from the Cormack family from Buckie. My great grandfather was William Cormack born in 1880. He married Mary Ann Wilson in 1900. .One of their sons was William James who married Isabella Geddes in 1930. They lived in Helmsdale. They may have had two sons. One was Allan Cameron Cormack.
My great grandfather had a brother named George who was born 1875 and he married Sophia Smith in 1900. They had a son George Cormack born in 1901, another son James Smith Cormack born 1905. Their daughter Nellie Sim Smith Cormack was born in 1907.
He had another brother James who was born in 1878 and he married Jane Morrison.
William’s father (My great great grandfather)was George Cormack born in 1847 and he was married to Margaret Jappy in 1865.
I have more information but don’t want to make things too complicated here.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
