I need to hire a mobility scooter from today or tomorrow until Sunday 27th August, this is for someone helping at the Cowal gathering. All other avenues exhausted, maybe a private individual can assist, quite happy to pay a premium for the 5 or 6 days. HELP!

I am aware of the concession ferry fare for disabled and over 60

Concessions are i guess for "foot passengers" but......

as disabled would i still get the concession discount if i travelled in a car as passenger?

and, is there a concession for car and driver when the driver is disabled?

Hi All, In late January I shall be completing on the sale of my home in Spain where I have lived for many years.In the faraway past,I have lived in Ayrshire,Renfrewshire & Edinburgh.I am English by birth but was married to a Scot & our daughter was born in Scotland,her daughter & young family live in Invernessire.Sadly my daughter died & I have no one who would really want to inherit a foreign property after I go Heavenways.Brexit has become a constant nightmare also for folks like myself,retired & single now & with no family still living in Spain.It seems a sensible decision to return to UK but I prefer to live out my days in Scotland rather than anywhere else in UK.My granddaughter suggested I move near to her but I am very independent & don´t expect her to think she needs to look after me.So I am considering a move to Dunoon .My only holiday was taken there some 45 years ago or more with my spouse so I am very much in need of info.regarding shops,and areas etc etc.I shall be seeking a small property to buy but initially I need to establish myself in a rental in the town where I can start searching.Any ideas would be so helpful.

Hi, anyone know how to get in contact with the Dunoon Handyman Chris Cherry. On Friday I gave him money for materials and Monday a key to my flat to start a job tuesday, but he’s no show and not answering messages. Any other contact number would be much appreciated.

I'm trying to trace my grandmother Pauline Sandra Smith , but she is known as Sandra Smith. We lost contact several years ago. I'm desperately trying to trace her to inform her that her daughter Virginia is very ill and would like to make contact.

My grandmother has four children Alex,Lorraine,Roz and Virginia. She used to live in Strachur but then moved to Dunoon. Approximately around 2005 and since then we have lost contact. I would be greatful if anybody knows my grandmother please ask her to get in touch. We still live at the same address.
