Simpson-Buchan 1800 Culsamond marriage & 1807 daughter Margaret in Ellon - 0 replies

Adam Simpson (Culsalmond Parish) and Ann Buchan (Forgue Parish) were married 15 November 1800 in Culsalmond. They had a daughter, Margaret Simpson born 25 April 1807 in Ellon. (I have official records.) Family legend says parents basically disowned her (for religious reasons) when she married, or left, with James McEwen from Northern Island. Margaret and James had a daughter Agnes in 1845 in Toronto, Canada, but I can't find out what happened to Adam Simpson and Ann Buchan in Scotland, if they had other children, or who their parents were. IS ANYONE RELATED TO ADAM SIMPSON OR ANN BUCHAN OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS FAMILY?
