South Yorkshire’s broken bus system is letting thousands of people down every day. Recent service changes from private bus companies have severely impacted dozens of routes across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
Marie will be joined by Oliver Coppard, Mayor of South Yorkshire - at the meeting to help put communities’ voices back at the Centre of plans to fix South Yorkshire’s public transport.
This is an opportunity for residents in and around Grenoside to ask questions about routes and bus provision, and discuss how we can come together to hold the Government and bus companies to account to deliver an affordable, reliable and accessible service. What are your experiences? What would encourage you to make more use of public transport in the region?
The event will be held in St Marks Church, Main Street, Grenoside at 6:30PM on Monday 7th November, and is open to everyone.
