Are there any live music fans out there?
I live in Ripponden and am putting an event on at the local club. I thought it might be nice to have something to look forward to, so Sat Oct 9th there's 'George! The concert'

My 90 yr old mum lives in the flats in Sowerby Bridge...as I am over 70 I'm finding it difficult to get groceries to her can anyone help occasionally please..???

Can anyone help me, i am doing my family tree and would like to connect with a family member that i have never met. I am looking for Alan McNamara, born 28/11/1946, he would now be 74, mothers maiden name was Olive Race, father Edward McNamara (Edward was from Glasgow). Olive and Edward married 02/06/1945 in the district of Calder. It appears that they were both living in Brighouse at the time of their marriage. Olive's father was Thomas William Race, occupation Postman. Olive and Edward subsequently separated. If anyone could help i woud be really grateful

Please keep an eye out for Ozzy, a black and white long haired male cat. Neutured 4 years old, he normally stays close to home. Should be found around the Holmfield area - Please check sheds, cellars and out houses as he may be hiding in these places. Reward on safe return.
