We are looking for a trustworthy and reliable person (or couple) to clean our house on an ad-hoc basis (generally every other week). Also
change and launder the bedding and towels as well as putting out/taking in bins
on appropriate days.
We live on the Studd Hill estate, so this would suit someone
local who wants some part-time work. We would pay a monthly retainer to cover
our requirements.
References
would be preferable

I would like to say a huge thank you to the two young women who helped my Mum in Herne Bay on Tuesday when she took ill in the street. The two ladies took her into a restaurant to recover and looked after her. She is fine now but was too ill to say how grateful she was at the time. If you are these ladies, or know who they are, please let them know that she and I really appreciate the care that they gave her. Lesley x

Hi,
My husband and I are looking to leave London and are thinking about a coastal destination. We are in our mid-40s, empty nesters, dog lovers who work from home with stressful jobs looking for a quiet chilled place to live. What are the pros and cons of Herne Bay? We saw the most amazing house in Hampton and its everything we want in a house we just don't know much about the area. Would love to hear more from you all on the area - thanks so much!!

Did you hear or see anything unusual around Beacon Road end of January? My White MG was taken, most likely on a flat bed truck and taken to Nicholas at Wade, stripped of it's engine and other parts and burnt! Total mindless, violent destruction! It's unbelievable the money these criminals would make from doing this was even worth it!
I would love to know if anyone heard it being taken, or saw it drive past, possibly through Belltinge area.
Be extra vigilant if you also have a classic car in the area. The same thing was done to a classic Land Rover in Broadstairs.
